Established way back in 1990, City Vocational Public School has carved an Iconic Stature in Meerut and its vicinity. Under the canopy of our Managing Director Dr. O. P. Agarwal, the school has scripted a glorious history. It is not just a building surrounded by four walls encompassing a green ambience within. It is a place where a team of dynamic and dedicated teachers help the students to inculcate values and characteristics that chisel them into good human beings and equip them for the challenges of the global scenario they are supposed to face.
Education in CVPS is child-centered. We help the child explore his latent talents and give opportunities for their development. We give the children freedom to explore, experience and learn at their own pace. In the process they learn how to think, reason, innovate and create. To give them opportunities to imbibe all this we organize a wide range of activities of various genres. In the last few years we planned a plethora of activities that were in spirit with CCE and gave the students a taste of innovation, creativity and learning. These were, “Mati KaheKumhar Se”, “Carols in Chaos”, “Windows – 2008”, “Odyssey of the Mind”, “Know Thy Neighbors”, “Parents Mela”, :”Sham-E-Ghazal – A tribute to Jagjit Singh”, “150th Birth Anniversary of Vivekanand”, “The Maestro Lives On”, “Rabindra Sandhya”, “RajatUtsav” etc.
Without ignoring academics, we give them an environment for self-inspired learning that gives them spontaneous joy, relief, enlightenment, freedom and power. In the process the school has become a nursery of eminent thinkers, writers, wise planners, top-brass professionals, meticulous C.A.’s, brave defence officers and medicos of repute. Thus, we carry on the heritage started by its Founder Director – Sh. Chandra Sen Agarwal.

Together with a lack of right guidance, counseling and Parents support; these factors have resulted a dramatic increase in aggression, psychological disorders, obesity, violence, internet misinterpretation and many more amongst young buds of the school. Having seen this fact we believe that “Training, Counseling and Guidance are no more the matter of choice it is indeed becomes a necessity of today.” Keeping this thought in mind, we conduct various moral, ethical and career counseling programme in our school . In the World of modernization, we need to focus on cultural, social, emotional and moral values which perhaps have lost its sheen now a days in the race of modernity and westernization. We try to inculcate these values by combining them with the curriculum of the students.
We are determined to make “Each child – Smart child” through the inclusion of English language lab, Information and computer technology (ICT), life skills, sensory and motor skills in the main stream of education system of the school. School always encourages its students to play pro-active role and contributed in the social events and campaign like My city My initiative, Tree plantation, Sanskaro ki Karyashala-Jagran Sanskarshala, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Andolan, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, Swachhta Abhiyan , Road Safety and many more with an aim to prepare each child a responsible citizen of India. We are thankful to all our supporters and well wishers for the recognition of the school among the best schools of India in the latest April special edition of Digital learning India magazine. School has also got the Excellence award in innovative teaching and pedagogies by Elets group. The books, curriculum, amenities and infrastructural facilities of the school have already been recognized and accredited by the IAO (International Accreditation Organization, U.S.) in the year 2013. Our greatest reward is the satisfaction, faith, and support of the students & Parents community of the school for which we always aspire to do, what we are desired.
